Gratitude Journal – August 14
My friends Peggy and Bill have a thing where they list the things they learned this week on each Friday. I don’t feel like I learn enough during the week, so I’m going to start a Sunday Gratitude Journal, where I list the things I’m grateful for this week. I’ve always wanted to start one, but I never have. Until now.
…for the rain. It rained yesterday morning. For the first time in over a month! I didn’t see it, but I’m happy it came anyhow.
…for my family, especially my parents. I will be getting an opportunity to visit them soon. Details will be finalized soon
…for my roommate. She helps me take care of this house, my cat, and my sanity. I’m grateful for her.
…for my job. It is a nice fun job that keeps me busy and keeps me from going insane from boredom.
…that I can write. It’s so nice being able to fill up page after page of stories that otherwise wouldn’t be told.
…for my sight. I heavily require corrective lenses, but it doesn’t stop me for enjoying the sights around me.
…for this bright happy Sabbath Day. I feel it’s going to be a good one–and I won’t let myself think otherwise!
